(VAT: IT05664600284), with its registered office in Padova, Via Canada, 8 (hereinafter SensorSafe and/or Data Controller), as the Data Controller, provides users browsing the website with this privacy notice in accordance with Article 13 of the European General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”), outlining the purposes and methods of processing personal data.
1. Subject of Processing
The Data Controller processes personal data provided by the User, including identifying and contact details (e.g., first name, last name, postal address, email address, phone number).
2. Purpose of Processing
The data will be processed lawfully and fairly for the following purposes:
a) To contact the User and respond to any requests submitted via the data collection forms available on the website (Article 6, letter b), GDPR);
b) To subscribe to the SensorSafe newsletter, if the User provides their email address in the dedicated form. The User may unsubscribe at any time via the appropriate function;
c) To comply with legal and tax obligations applicable to the Data Controller (Article 6, letter c), GDPR);
d) To pursue the legitimate interest of the Data Controller, as determined through an interest-balancing assessment (Article 6, letter f), GDPR);
e) If necessary, to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim in court.
3. Mandatory or Optional Provision of Data
Providing personal data for the aforementioned purposes is not mandatory but is necessary to access the requested services.
4. Processing Methods
The processing of personal data is carried out using operations listed in Article 4, number 2) of the GDPR, including: collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, restriction, communication, erasure, and destruction of data.
Personal data may be processed both on paper and electronically and/or automatically.
5. Data Retention
Personal data collected for the purposes outlined in this policy will be retained only for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the stated purposes and in compliance with applicable regulations.
For the newsletter service, data will be retained until the User unsubscribes. After this period, the data will be deleted or anonymized.
6. Data Access and Communication
User data may be accessed by:
i) Employees and/or collaborators of the Data Controller in their capacity as authorized persons and/or system administrators;
ii) Service providers acting as external data processors and/or sub-processors, who perform outsourced activities on behalf of the Data Controller, such as website content management and maintenance, customer support, and other auxiliary services.

Additionally, the Data Controller may disclose User data to third parties (Public Authorities, Law Enforcement Agencies, or other public and private entities) exclusively to fulfill contractual and/or legal obligations.

Should such transfers occur, appropriate safeguards established by the GDPR will be adopted to protect User data, including adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

When applicable, SensorSafe will notify third parties to whom personal data has been disclosed of the User’s request, except in cases where such notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort relative to the right being exercised.
9. Exercising User Rights
Users may modify or revoke their consent and exercise their rights by sending a request to the Data Controller at info@sensorsafe.eu or by calling +39 049 4906710.
For the processing covered by this privacy policy, the User also has the right to file a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) at www.garanteprivacy.it.
